ADP’s Commitment to Accessibility
At ADP, we are Always Designing for People—all people. ADP is committed to ensuring that ADP’s website, products, and services are accessible to every user. ADP strives to embed accessibility throughout the product lifecycle consistent with EN 301 549 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and other relevant guidance set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C-WAI) governing bodies. This includes design, development, and regular testing. Our internal accessibility team, alongside assistance of a third-party digital accessibility consultancy, works with product teams to maintain best practices and accessibility guidance.
ADP strives to continuously embed accessibility best practices into our culture in many ways to enhance our products and services, including but not limited to:
- Execute accessibility assessments with an industry leading expert
- Commit and dedicate resources to remediation
- Partner with advocacy groups, accessibility and usability specialists, and people with disabilities to be more inclusive in processes and designs
- Establish company policies, processes, procedures, and expectations on digital accessibility
- Require digital accessibility training programs for web and mobile teams focused on quality assurance, designers, developers, managers, and content creators
- Staff a centralized team dedicated to digital accessibility
- Remediate the centralized component library
- Procure and deploy accessibility testing and tooling (automated and manual)
- Provide robust education for roles across the product lifecycle.
- Enhance our Design System by continuing to deliver patterns and components with accessibility baked in
